Ingredients
  • 8 oz jar prepared sweet and sour sauce
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 rings Kielbasa sausage
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 2 red onions, chopped in 1 inch pieces
  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped in 1 inch pieces
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cut the sausage into 1 ¾ inch chunks and the bacon strips into 2 short pieces.
  3. Wrap a piece of bacon around each sausage slice and secure it with a toothpick.
  4. Put the bacon-wrapped sausage in a 13 x 9 inch pan and bake, covered, for half an hour.
  5. Stir the sweet and sour sauce with the sugar and ketchup.
  6. Remove the toothpicks from the bacon-wrapped sausages and replace them with 6 inch bamboo skewers.
  7. Thread a piece of red onion and a piece of green bell pepper on to each one, after the bacon-wrapped sausage.
  8. Pour the sauce over the top and bake for another hour.
