  • 4 ½ oz brie
  • 6 sheets filo pastry
  • 2 oz melted butter
  • 1 small jar cranberry jelly
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
  • Lettuce, to serve
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cut the filo pastry sheets into 6 inch squares and put 3 squares on top of one another at an angle, so you get a 12 pointed star shape.
  3. Brush some melted butter over the top and put a teaspoon of brie in the middle of each pastry.
  4. Top with some cranberry jelly and sprinkle some pecans over the top. Collect the pastry corners to join up and make a little parcel, then press at the neck to seal.
  5. Repeat until you have used all the ingredients.
  6. Grease a baking tray and brush the brie and cranberry parcels with some melted butter, then bake for 10 or 15 minutes until golden and serve hot on a bed of lettuce.
